Broomfield, Colo., Jan. 17, 2012 - MWH Global, the global wet infrastructure sector leader and provider of environmental engineering, strategic consulting, construction and construction management services, announced the appointment of Blair M. Lavoie, PE, to the position of president, MWH Constructors, leading the construction business for MWH in both the U.S. and the U.K. Lavoie, formerly senior vice president and director of U.S. operations for MWH Constructors, a consistently top ranking construction and construction management service provider, began his new role on Jan. 1, 2012.
Lavoie, who joined the firm in 2000, has more than 28 years' experience in providing engineering, construction, project and program management on complex infrastructure projects for municipal, government and industrial clients. Lavoie is currently the principal-in-charge on more than $1 billion USD of construction management-at-risk (CMAR), design-build and construction management projects located across the United States.

Lavoie received his Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Norwich University in 1984, where he currently serves as a Fellow. He also graduated from the Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program and has been an MWH Constructors Board Member since 2002. He is a licensed contractor and professional engineer. Lavoie is based in Broomfield, Colorado, U.S.
