Wet Weather/Stormwater Practice Leader, Global

Mr. Srini Vallabhaneni is the Global Practice Leader for Wet Weather/Stormwater Sector for MWH, now part of Stantec.  Srini brings 30 years of comprehensive experience in stormwater, wastewater and water management programs and overall asset management functions. He helps communities in developing and implementing projects to enhance customer service, comply with regulations and improve the water environment.

Srini’s versatile expertise in wet weather and stormwater programs includes planning, design and construction for water conveyance programs, integrated management of stormwater, and control of sanitary sewer overflows and combined sewer overflows.

Srini has passion for developing industry-wide methods and tools to support water infrastructure management programs.  He led efforts with the United States Environmental Protection Agency in development of two technical publications and tools in support of the aging water infrastructure initiative. He actively contributes to the knowledge development/sharing mission of professional associations such as Water Environment Federation through collaborated efforts.  He has authored/co-authored more than two dozen industry publications.

Srini received his M.S. in Environmental Engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology and B.E. in Civil Engineering from Andhra University. He is a licenced Professional Civil Engineer, and a Board Certified Environmental Engineer – certified by the American Academy of Environmental Engineers and Scientists.

Our Wet Weather/Stormwater Practice team focuses on stormwater management and combined and sanitary sewer overflow challenges, which often require complex and coordinated capital improvements. We provide a full range of services to foster proactive asset management practices and aging infrastructure/ water quality initiatives to help achieving regulatory compliance under consent decree, administrative order or other enforcement actions.
