MWH UK has achieved outstanding success in the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Occupational Health and Safety Awards 2016. Our Company will be presented with its fourth prestigious Presidents Award in recognition of “sustained achievement” having received a thirteenth consecutive Gold Award this year.
MWH UK Health and Safety Director Chris Sutton said, “receiving this award recognises the efforts of all our people and contractors working on behalf of MWH UK. The RoSPA assessors are looking for year on year improvement and also real working examples that show our systems, procedures and behaviours throughout the business. We have shown that continual improvement in health, safety and wellbeing performance cannot be achieved by paperwork or management alone, it truly is a team effort and requires real employee engagement and feedback. I thank everyone for their proactive involvement and commitment in making our workplaces safe places to work.”
MWH UK Managing Director, Cath Schefer said, “I am delighted that we have won our fourth RoSPA Presidents Award this year. It is fantastic recognition for all we do to ensure our employees, our clients and everybody we work with, works in a safe and caring environment.”
Awards will be presented in more than 20 industry sectors to businesses that achieve excellence in all aspects of health and safety at an official ceremony on July 14, 2016.
