MWH, now part of Stantec, was awarded the contract to provide technical assistance to the Prime Minister’s Delivery Unit (PMDU) and the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation in Jordan, to establish an effective monitoring and evaluation and delivery system to support the implementation of economic reforms, under the Jordan 2025 vision.
Launched in 2015, the Jordan 2025 vision is part of a long term roadmap aimed at revitalizing the economy of Jordan. It intends to achieve real economic growth, reduce poverty, unemployment and the public dept. The 2025 vision and its related executive development program does so, by focusing on economic reforms to enhance the development of the private sector.
In this context, MWH has been contracted to equip the Government of Jordan with monitoring and evaluation expertise and the capacity to effectively manage the system and ensure implementation of these reforms, as well as the capacity to deal with overcome challenges faced when implementing the reforms and support for improving and accelerating the Government’s service delivery and ways to strategically communicate on these economic reforms.
