MWH was named ‘Best Place to Work’ and ranked No.2 in the NCE Top 100 Civil Engineering Companies of the Year listing, based on the cultures, competencies and skillsets that matter most. The first of its kind, the NCE100 Awards which were held in London in the UK, recognise and reward companies that embrace and inspire excellence within civil engineering.
After a face to face presentation to a panel of elected expert judges, made up from the most influential industry clients and peers, MWH won ‘Best Place to Work’ in recognition of the facts that the judges thought MWH stood out in, in their ability to demonstrate:
- Clear corporate values which are well communicated to an engaged team.
- Flexible working through excellent and diverse examples of sabbaticals, part time and parental working opportunities.
- Exceptional leadership demonstrating a commitment to wellbeing initiatives across a number of areas including mental health.
MWH was also highly commended in the ‘Technology Champion’ category and was a finalist in the ‘Contribution to the Profession’ and ‘Technical Excellence’ categories.
