Strategic appointment made in support of Stantec integration process
Lima, Peru (May 15, 2017)
MWH, now part of Stantec, a global design firm, has appointed Renzo Toledo as Business Development Manager in Peru since May 8. In this new role, Renzo is responsible for the coordination of the business plans with the managers of the different Business Areas of the operation in Peru. He is also responsible for identifying new business opportunities, analyzing the market, identifying potential clients and generating the negotiation and sales process with key clients of the organization. He will work from the office located in Lima.
“Renzo’s knowledge and experience in the construction sector will allow MWH to continue to offer our clients sustainable and cost-effective solutions,” said Alberto Coya, Country Manager of the Peruvian operation. “Renzo is a very capable and experienced person who knows the market and the needs of our clients. He will be a great support for our team,” he concluded.
Renzo has more than 20 years of experience working in Engineering, Supplies, Manufacturing and Construction projects in the Mining, Energy, Oil and Gas and Infrastructure sectors. He is a Mechanical Engineer from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru, MBA and PMP ® certified, with multifunctional experience in important companies in the metalworking, construction and engineering sectors, developing in the following areas: Commercial, Project Management, Planning and Budgeting. He has also been a teacher and speaker in Project Management since 2007.
The Peruvian office is one of three offices that MWH, now part of Stantec, operates in Latin America to meet the growing and diverse infrastructure needs of the region. Renzo’s appointment comes at a key moment for the company as it continues to integrate with Stantec, which acquired MWH in 2016. Renzo’s extensive experience in Commercial Management will strengthen business and client relations in Peru, a change that aligns with corporate objectives for Latin America.
