- Awarded Three 2011 Outstanding Project of the Year Awards from ASCE of Sacramento
- The Design-Build Institute of America awarded MWH a National Design-Build Award for the Southwest Water Reclamation Facility Project in Cape Coral, Florida.
- Autodesk BIM Experience Award for Work on Historic Transportation Landmark - the Panama Canal.
- The seismic and hydraulic rehabilitation of Big Tujunga Dam was named 2011 Best Civil Works/Infrastructure Project in California by Engineering News-Record.
- MWH Constructors is recipient of the 2011 AWWA Green Ribbon Award.
- Recipient of Engineering News Record's Southeast Best of 2011 Project Award under the category for Best Civil Works/Infrastructure Project.
- Top Firm in Water for the 10th consecutive year in the UK's New Civil Engineer (NCE) annual Consultants File 2011. MWH also received third in Waste (for municipal solid) and 10th in Power.
- MWH UK was awarded its fourth Gold Medal for achieving eight consecutive RoSPA Occupational Health and Safety Gold Awards and also achieved a Merit Award for its submission for the BSC International Safety Award.

- The San Joaquin River Restoration Program was one of 17 recipients of the 2011 Partners in Conservation Awards awarded by the U.S. Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar. MWH is part of the collaborative effort to restore 153 miles of California's San Joaquin River below Friant Dam.
