Rebecca Lamas joined the team with a background in energy and natural resources engineering and project management, with experience in projects funded by the European Commission and European Investment Bank (EIB). She holds bachelor degrees in civil/underground engineering from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (Spain) and University of Leuven (Belgium) and a master’s in engineering and management in renewable energy from the University of Barcelona (Spain). As a non-key expert for the SE4ALL project, Rebecca is currently active in the role of renewable energy expert in Cape Verde, supporting the team for field-work with sustainable energy planning and energy demand analysis of the country for the National Electricity Master Plan 2017-2040.
Julia Walschebauer complements the international team with her own expansive global experience, and proficiency in seven languages. After her studies in Belgium and Mexico, she earned her bachelor’s degree in international business at the Maastricht University (the Netherlands) (with an exchange period in Brazil) and a master’s degree in the political economy of Europe from the London School of Economics (UK). As Junior Business Development Manager, Julia supports the business development team with the acquisition of new project opportunities.
