Young Professionals Visit New Orleans
YPs get a hands-on experience with coastal restoration design and infrastructure
In 2016, the young professionals group (YPG) of MWH planned four short term networking and professional development trips as part of a program called the YP Exchange. Participants from around the country were sent on two-day trips to miniature summits on some of our developing practices. On these trips, participating YPs discussed the direction of the industry, participated in site tours, and networked with top subject matter experts and one another. This YP Exchange took place in New Orleans in November of 2016 and was hosted by Steve Mathies, the coastal restoration and resiliency leader.
